What has happened in this country concerning to some incidents at Cikeusik, Temanggung, and recently in Pasuruan it does really a cowardly attitude. Shame on you guys!

We have seen how the ego wants to fix, to make things perfect, to reorder someone else’s life, and above all, to do something to maintain the illusion of control. We ve also seen that in order to grow in our capacity to care for others, a completely different response is required. We need to take time to sit still, quiet the mind, and listen deeply.

Imposing Mind, Mindfulness and Miracle

I agree with David Blaine statement on how human could motivated their selves on pushing their perceived boundaries: ” We are all capable of infinitely more than we believe. We are stronger and more resourceful than we know, and we can endure much more than we think we can. In truth, the only restrictions on our capacity to astonish ourselves and each other are imposed by our own minds.”

Refer to his statement about Imposing Our Mind has reminds me of Thich Nhat Hanh lesson about Mindfulness. As Thich Nhat Hanh said: “The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green earth in the present moment, to appreciate the peace and beauty that are available now”.

I was wondering what is actually the connections between Imposing Mind, Mindfulness, and Miracle?

What Is The Meaning of A New Year in My Life?

I was having a new year’s eve with some dear friends at home in Jogja. Unfortunately, the rest of my families have been away to Jakarta for another new year’s family gathering. It was my first time new year at home since last 7 years. I found myself that I never felt dwelling since ever, in my parents house, a house I have been grown as a child until I went to college. Since I was child, my mind and my soul had been always traveled too far and I got lost but I never realized that. These last two years, my life has changes me in some directions. My life grew strongs as my spirits going firm to see this beauty of life, even if sometimes it is not easy, but that doesn’t mean I m not happy. I can see that happiness is about relativity. It really depends on how we wanna see and how we wanna be, excepting not refusing, surrender not forcing, be free with whatever we have in the “now”. I guess the idea of a New Year for me is, as time goes by, as we grew strong inside, in our spirit. As my understanding about how I live my life and learnt, something that is in materials or something that we can see is not everlasting, but there is our spirit. Except that we let our spirits die.

*Happy New Year to all my dearest families and friends. Keep The Spirits Alive! Even though we re in distance i think it doesn’t really matters. I believe that spirits travels! So maybe sometimes our spirits is gonna catch up. And the thing that you must know is that you are all is dwelling in my heart and my thoughts in every season *

green instead wall: a day with my niece

I amazed with a green beauty area around Menteng called Taman Suropati. I went there spending my weekend with my niece instead of having a walk at mall. Jakarta should have and think about to grow and preserve green areas as a place to hang out as an alternative to the malls. I guess, if we do not aware, we ll become a “devotee” of commercial buildings and getting further with the Nature that we actually need the energy from it.
